1953 Structo No 605 Shovel Dump Truck In Original Box
Gorgeous blue and white all-metal Shovel Dump Truck by Structo. Paint and parts all original. Outstanding near mint condition complete with original box. Truck features a white, die cast cab and blue, steel litho dump bed. Cab and bed are screwed onto an unpainted die-cast chassis. The front of the chassis extends beyond the front grille to serve as the front bumper. The bed raises manually using its original steel lever. It has six rubber tires, two in front, two tandem in the rear, all with polished tin metal centers. The cab has both of its original "Structo Toys" decals on both doors. Large "Structo Excavating Company" decals on both sides of the dump bed include the catalog number, a telephone number, and X94(?). The truck comes in its original, early 50's style, box. Printed in two colors, the front panel shows 7 different Structo models. The rear panel shows 4 additional models which used the same cab over engine type as this No. 605. The front panel was printed with manufacturer name, fragile, etc. Both sets of endflaps were printed with the truck name and catalog number. It's complete with all 8 original endflaps.
